    jobandtalent.com

    Senior Frontend Engineer

    Full-time
    Job&talent.com

Worked on the internal platform ecosystem atJob&Talent, one of Europe’s largest workforce and staffing platforms, helping scale frontend architecture and product delivery across multiple engineering squads.

My role combined hands-on frontend engineering, architecture work, product delivery, and cross-team collaboration in a fast-moving, high-pressure environment. Beyond implementation, I was deeply involved in technical planning, feasibility validation, and helping shape how teams could independently ship frontend applications at scale.

A major focus of the work was the migration of a large internal admin platform from a monolithic Next.js application toward a micro-frontend architecture built on Webpack 5 Module Federation.

At the time, the ecosystem around Module Federation was still immature, documentation was limited, and many integration patterns had no established best practices. A large part of the work involved experimentation, proof-of-concepts, custom tooling, and solving architectural edge cases in production environments.

    Selected work

    • Contributed to the architectural migration from a monolithic frontend toward a scalable micro-frontend platform.
    • Helped design and implement independent deployment pipelines that enabled multiple squads to ship frontend applications in parallel without blocking or breaking each other.
    • Built and maintained production-grade micro-frontend integrations using Webpack 5 Module Federation inside a Next.js ecosystem.
    • Developed custom Webpack tooling and transformation plugins to support compatibility and runtime integration requirements.
    • Conducted feasibility research, prototyping, and technical validation around frontend platform architecture and deployment strategies.
    • Delivered high-impact product features end-to-end, collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and backend teams.
    • Integrated analytics, feature flagging, and shared platform services across distributed frontend applications.
    • Contributed heavily to frontend reliability, CI/CD workflows, developer experience, and long-term maintainability.
    • Participated in code reviews, mentoring, architectural discussions, and cross-team engineering alignment.

    Impact

The micro-frontend transition significantly improved development scalability across teams by enabling independently deployable frontend applications and reducing coordination overhead between squads.

Worked on the FendtONE smart farming platform for AGCO and Fendt — an enterprise IoT ecosystem connecting on-vehicle systems with cloud-based farm management tools.

Joined a complex, already mature system with significant legacy constraints and accumulated technical debt across multiple teams and vendors. My focus was improving frontend stability, strengthening engineering practices, and reducing friction in ongoing development while supporting feature delivery in a highly distributed environment.

Alongside the main platform work, I also contributed to a separate pilot backend project (Kukapp), working in a more modern greenfield setup.

    • Stabilized and improved a large legacy frontend codebase with significant architectural and performance issues.
    • Investigated recurring production issues and reduced long-standing UI and data consistency bugs through targeted fixes and refactoring.
    • Improved frontend development workflows, debugging practices, and overall code maintainability across teams.
    • Migrated and optimized testing infrastructure using Jest, improving reliability and reducing test execution time.
    • Contributed to state management and API integration improvements using TypeScript-based patterns.
    • Worked in a fully remote Agile setup across distributed European teams, coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

    Kukapp (Pilot Project)

    • Contributed to a separate pilot backend project built with NestJS and TypeScript.
    • Developed APIs and service-layer logic using Sequelize ORM with PostgreSQL.
    • Worked in a greenfield environment focused on rapid iteration and experimentation.

Contributed to the initial bootstrapping and architecture of the ClientOne platform.

    • Built full-stack features using Angular, React, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.
    • Developed complex frontend interfaces for portfolio analysis and financial data exploration.
    • Created interactive data visualizations using D3.js to help users better understand portfolio metrics and risk data.
    • Worked extensively with state management patterns using NgRx and Redux.
    • Participated in frontend modernization efforts, improving maintainability, scalability, and developer workflows.
    • Collaborated closely with product owners, engineers, and analysts in an Agile environment with frequent code reviews and iterative delivery cycles.
    • Focused heavily on performance, reliability, and usability in large enterprise-scale applications handling high-volume datasets.

    <EPAM>

    Frontend Developer

    Full-time
    EPAM Systems

Joined EPAM to work on the mobile e-commerce platform of Burberry, focusing on the Campaigns and Storytelling experience for a global audience.

The project was built on a large legacy Backbone.js codebase with significant performance and maintainability challenges. My role combined feature development, deep debugging, frontend optimization, and day-to-day stabilization of the mobile experience across devices.

    Selected work

    • Built and maintained interactive campaign and storytelling experiences for the mobile commerce platform.
    • Worked extensively inside a legacy Backbone.js architecture, implementing new features while improving reliability and maintainability.
    • Investigated and resolved major mobile performance bottlenecks, including freezes and memory issues caused by heavy infinite-scroll behavior.
    • Introduced Intersection Observer–based lazy loading and resource unloading strategies to reduce memory consumption and improve scrolling performance on mobile devices.
    • Improved frontend performance and Lighthouse metrics, contributing to faster page loads, lower bounce rates, and increased user retention.
    • Helped onboard and mentor junior frontend developers, establishing cleaner development practices and coding standards.
    • Collaborated with designers, QA, and backend teams in a Scrum environment to deliver high-visibility marketing campaigns under tight deadlines.

Over time, I also took ownership of parts of the frontend workflow and helped onboard junior developers into the project.
