MindLibra.hu is a hybrid therapy platform designed to make psychological support more accessible through a combination of digital convenience and human-centered care.
The project was developed as a fast-moving MVP with the goal of validating the business model, therapist workflows, and online client acquisition funnel as early as possible.
Instead of overengineering the first iteration, we intentionally chose a rapid-development stack based on WordPress and Elementor to optimize for speed, iteration velocity, and operational flexibility.
My Contribution
As a freelance developer, I worked on both frontend and backend implementation across the platform, including:
- Custom WordPress development
- Elementor-based UI implementation
- JavaScript enhancements and dynamic interactions
- Stripe and Stripe Connect payment integration
- Business workflow implementation
- User onboarding flows
- Landing page and conversion-focused development
- Performance improvements and production fixes
Technical Challenges
One of the key challenges was balancing rapid MVP delivery with maintainability and scalability. The platform needed to:
- support therapist and client workflows,
- integrate secure online payments,
- remain easy to operate by non-technical stakeholders,
- and evolve quickly based on real-world feedback.
The WordPress ecosystem allowed extremely fast iteration cycles while still enabling custom development where necessary.
Outcome
The project successfully launched as a functional production MVP, enabling the team to validate the platform concept, onboard therapists, and begin real user acquisition without the overhead of building a fully custom platform from day one.
Key Takeaway
Good engineering is not always about choosing the most sophisticated stack. In early-stage products, speed of execution, adaptability, and business validation can be significantly more valuable than premature architectural complexity.
